The Arctic Rail webpage is currently in its start-up and development phase. Our ambition is to create a modern, interactive portal for members of the economic association and other stakeholders. Join us as we strive to foster dynamic dialogue across borders and business sectors in the the North Calotte region.

The independent interest group Arctic Rail is established

We are a cross-border collaborative organization focused on the railway systems in the northernmost regions of Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

Who we are

Our members are dependent on investments in railway and logistics for industry and infrastructure development.

Financing

We are primarily funded through partnership and membership fees. Additionally, we seek public funding from EU regional and national sources for future strategic projects.

Our goal

Arctic Rail can play a significant role by having an independent, holistic, and cohesive perspective for the benefit of all stakeholders, all those who depend on the railway infrastructure in the Arctic region. Read about our initial strategic agenda and our mission.
